Whether you love art as a hobby or you want to train for a art career (such as an illustrator, architect, animator, designer and much more) our classes are a great place to start. Art Classes for Teenagers

Considering a arts based career such as illustration, architecture, animation, character development, fine art, city planning, design? Come along and learn all the essentials you will need for college!
This class is designed to develop your imagination, teach you core and more advanced human figure and drawing techniques, how to use oil paints, acrylics and adobe illustrator photoshop.

This is an 8 month class that is full of skill building and imagination exploring. We learn skills in painting, drawing and 3-d modeling. We will going on art exhibit field trips and published guest artists Jennifer Eichelberger and Rebecca Waddington this year! Amongst other artist teaching also. Parents are welcome to stay and enjoy artists visits too. Please contact 801 885 0893 to hold your spot for this coming year. We have 9 spots available, they are filling well. Portrait Class
Jan 2017, Wednesday 5:30 - 7:30 pm, 6 week course $65, ages 16+

Have you always wondered how to paint/draw faces? This is your opportunity to learn! This is a 6 week class focusing on painting portraits from neck/shoulders up. We will using live models in class, as media to draw/paint from.
We take a step by step approach to drawing and painting the face/portrait so no one will be left behind. Beginners start working in pencil, then move onto oil. Those with drawing and oil experience start painting portraits in oil immediately. We will be learning about anatomical proportions and how to measure them. What features make more feminine and masculine faces. How to mix colors for the face and what colors to look for. How to apply paint and much more.

Oil Painting

Come take your first step to becoming an accomplished oil painter! This 6 week introductory class will take you through the basic techniques for oil painting. You will learn how to mix oil paints, keep clean brushes, create clean colors, and how to use mediums.
